Wallace has close to 30 years of experience of management, regulatory, and government policy of science and technology. He is currently the Chief Administrative Officer of BMCC (Biomedical Commercialization Center) Taiwan. Wallace is the founder and CEO of SynNovate, a technology-based firm established in Taiwan and with presence in Asia. Wallace joined Board of Science and Technology Executive Yuan of Taiwan (BOST)of Taiwan in 2012 as the Director of the Biotechnology, Health, Medicine and Agriculture. He has been one of the full-time Science and Technology Advisors of Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Wallace was the Acting Deputy Executive Director of Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE), the regulatory agency for the review of Pharmaceuticals, Medical Device, Health Food, Health Technology Assessment in Taiwan. Wallace was Director of Specialty Polymers Lab in Union Chemical Laboratories, ITRI and an Adjunct Associated Professor of Biotechnology in National Chaio-Tung University and Chung-Yuan Christian University.
